About Us
In response to the shortage of intensive care ventilators during the peak of the pandemic, we produced 100 ventilators in April 2021 and 5,000 ventilators by June 2021, following the requests of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry and Technology in March 2021. This swift production process marked the beginning of the KoçMedical story.As the Netherlands-based company of Koç Group operating in the field of healthcare technologies, we were established to provide innovative solutions to healthcare needs, expand access to healthcare for broader audiences, and become a regional leader in health technology.
We focus on two distinct product categories: disposable medical supplies and medical devices. At KoçMedical, we specialize in the design and production of conventional medical devices and consumables. In July 2023, KoçMedical acquired 100% of the shares of Bıçakcılar Tıbbi Cihazlar Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., a company with over 60 years of experience in the medical device sector. This merger aims to diversify the product range in healthcare technologies, expand export markets, and significantly contribute to global growth.
Our long-term goals include creating a broad entrepreneurship ecosystem for healthcare technologies both domestically and internationally. Moreover, with an agile, dynamic, and innovative spirit, we aim to meet all the requirements for rapid growth and become a pioneer in the industry by being present in all areas related to medical devices.
